The Great Reset, A Dystopian Future?

Truly “A Tale of Two Cities.” On the one hand, the world in history has never seen such progress and success on just about any measure. But when looking at the storm clouds building on the global stage, many wonder what the future will hold. Even with our current society’s unparalleled success, unparalleled dissatisfaction abounds coinciding with extreme wealth inequality. With global economies already teetering under mountains of debt and global unrest, the world is facing a potential depression brought on by a global pandemic. Not to even speak of a pivotal election in the world’s leading nation to decide its future.

Many are calling for a global reset to put the world back on a sound footing. Our leaders and elites are not idle. They are listening to the sounds of the people. Many leaders and elites as well, are calling for a restart or a reboot, as they too are fully aware of the storm clouds building. Besides, as they say, never let a good crisis go to waste. The conversation of a Great Reset abounds. Are our leaders and elites here to help us out of the goodness of their hearts? Or will they lead us knowingly or unknowingly into a dystopian future?

In this background, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has launched its “Great Reset” initiative. It was followed up with the release of a new book titled, “Covid-19: The Great Reset,” authored by the executive chairman of the WEF, Klaus Schwab, and Senior Director of the Global Risk Network at the institution, Thierry Malleret. There are five planks to this WEF Great Reset – economic, societal, geopolitical, environmental, and technological – all of which the book covers in detail.

The authors say that there is only a narrow window of opportunity for the Great Reset. The IMF has said the world has a choice between the Great Reset, or the Great Reversal (the Great Reversal being “more poverty, more fragmentation, and less trade”).  The scale of change called for, by definition, is global in nature, is to lay waste the current world order and then to lay the foundations for a New World Order. This kind of globalist New World Order talk is not new – see more here and here. In 1994, Rockefeller was quoted at a U.N. dinner as saying, “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.” David Rockefeller wrote in his 2002 memoirs: “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ”internationalists” and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” Read more here.

This Great Reset is not without its critics. Here, here, here, here, and here is just a sampling, but there are many others. You may want to add this article to the list, but we wanted to explore a little more on what the true agenda is of these elites and tools that may be used to achieve their goals. Then putting on our speculative hat, and see what an actual Great Reset looks like. Flushing out more details may help one adapt and plan our own individual responses to their agenda and their subsequent activities.

The “real” agenda for The Great Reset:

The WEF agenda reeks with hypocrisy. When reading it, it looks like some radical left-wing platform you might see in the Black Lives Matter manifesto. Would one expect anything different? At the core of many of the left-wing agendas are redistribution policies to achieve “justice, equality, and fairness.” But to do this, elites would be the target. Do you honestly believe the elites are ready to do this? Besides, they could all collectively do this on their own – they wouldn’t need a sophisticated strategy to do this – just write the check.  The elites must give lip service to the masses while hiding their real agenda.

• Confront the coming economic cliff, or economic collapse, via exponential debt accumulation, resulting in massive destructive currency debasement. The reality is, democracies have allowed their masses to vote too many benefits to themselves that can not be sustained. Once the cliff arrives, an inevitable revolution will occur that could destroy their world.
• How to maintain and grow elite power while getting the masses to embrace it. Remember, most elites didn’t get to be elites by giving away their wealth. It is in their DNA to want more and get more. They will not surrender willingly.
• Eliminate democracy, though having a form of it, to maintain their credibility and control. They need to get the masses to gladly agree to give up their sovereignty to them, in exchange for a low base set of security controlled by elites. This will be necessary to maintain power and control resistance of the masses.
• In the end, it is about stopping the masses from coming for them, the elites, with pitchforks, in some modern-day disastrous French Revolution. History has show time and again that when wealth inequality is excessive, and the masses experience too much comparative lifestyle pain, the masses will revolt – regardless of the morality of envy economics.

Crisis event drivers to initiate The Great Reset:

As David Rockefeller said, “All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.” The major crises being designed are quite obvious today. They are ever-present today in media. Real or not, it does not matter. If the masses believe in the crises, the fear can be used to motivate and initiate the change.

• COVID19 or some other additional pandemic.
• Social justice conflicts – moving the masses from a class struggle (away from elites) to a more tribal (race) struggle amongst the masses.
• Climate change.
• Weapons of mass destruction event.
• Cyberwarfare.
• Involuntary mass migration.
• Subsequent financial crises that will occur to manage these crises.

Tools that would enable The Great Reset:

Once one has started down the path of a Great Reset, one will need tools to manage the implementation of this new order. Each tool will have its own timeline of implementation. Dependencies also need to be managed between the tools used. The tools will need to have both a carrot and a stick approach to enable the coercion. But the key elements of all tools envisioned would come with a narrative that the tool is to help the masses for their own good. Any penalties are designed to coerce trouble makers to support the new order.
