White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced Monday that she had just tested positive for COVID-19.
“I tested positive for COVID-19 Monday morning while experiencing no symptoms,” McEnany said in a statement. “I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working on behalf of the American People remotely.”
McEnany is the third in Trump’s White House staff and administration to test positive after President Trump’s diagnosis last Thursday.
Presidential aide Hope Hick’s tested positive last Thursday and Nicholas Luna, a Trump assistant, has tested positive as well.
Attorney General William Barr has self-quarantined despite testing negative for the virus.
