At least 41 people were shot, 6 fatally, from Friday to Sunday in yet another bloody Chicago weekend.
A 53-year-old man took a bullet to the head while sitting in his car in broad daylight on Saturday, and was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to CBS Chicago. Five hours later, an unidentified male was found dead with a gunshot wound in his face in the hallway of an apartment building, the local outlet reported.
A total of four people were killed on Sunday including a 28-year-old man who took a round to the head in an apparent drive-by shooting, according to CBS Chicago. Another man, who was suspected of robbing an individual and shooting him in the leg, was riddled with bullets and found dead by authorities, the local outlet reported.

A fifth man, whose age has not been provided, was pronounced dead at the scene when investigators stumbled upon his corpse in the driver’s seat of a car, according to CBS Chicago. The last known homicide victim in the three-day period was shot multiple times in the back by three assailants, the local outlet reported.
A 17-year-old girl was shot in the leg and a 15-year-old boy was shot in the chest in non-fatal incidents throughout the weekend, according to the Chicago news source.
Other victims who are said to have survived their injuries were shot in the face, leg, arm and back, the local outlet reported.
