Republicans Should Insist That The National Guard Troops Remain On Duty In D.C. Indefinitely

Democrats called the National Guard to D.C. with the hope and intent that the troops would appear to be protecting the Capitol city from the evil Trump rioters who had been accused of ransacking the city.

But we now know that there never was a threat to D.C. from Trump followers, and all Americans who are paying attention to current events know that the summer of 2020 was full to the gills of rioting and burning, from Seattle to Baltimore, perpetrated by leftist gangs like ANTIFA and BLM, who were encouraged to continue burning and destroying by the Kamala Harris and other Democrat party officials, so Republicans should insist that the troops remain right where they are to protect the city from Biden’s leftist anarchists.

Since Democrats do the exact opposite of what Republicans encourage them to do, after making the above request of Nancy and Chuck, the Capitol should be cleared of olive drab uniforms within 24 hours.

But actually, except for the appearance of being in East Germany during the Soviet era, I like the Guard being in the nation’s Capitol, because it presents a great side-by-side comparison of the radical, leftist rioters who destroyed cities all summer long and even attacked the White House and the Capitol building in the heat of the campaign season, and the peaceful, well-behaved, conservative, and probably Trump-supporting soldiers who make up the National Guard. And this gathering of patriotic young men and women are a good example for the rest of the nation, who have been encouraged by Democrats to think that police and military people are all rapists, murderers and war-mongers. These good people being in the nation’s Capitol may even be a good recruiting tool for the Guard.

This is one rare case when Democrats, in their random and illogical mutterings and ramblings, were right about something: The often ill-referred-to “wall” of concertina wire and soldiers standing at port-arms, didn’t work to place blame on Republicans, as the Dems had hoped. They only demonstrate that the military is made up of individuals who have patriotic respect for our nation and our constitution, and who only want peace.

And a further, rather urgent, consideration has presented itself to the Democrats, and may achieve the ends that Republicans actually want in this idiotic stand-off: The Democrats have to get the National Guard out of D.C. soon so Biden, Nancy and Chuck can begin building bad feelings against the local D.C. police officers as being murderers who shoot and kill unarmed citizens at random, and start defunding the police force in Washington.
