Biden Lied About Tax Increase Threshold

In a recent interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, President Joe Biden said that he wanted to raise taxes. It was part of his plan before he ever won the White House, as he promised that he would raise taxes on anyone making more than $400,000 per year.

In his interview with Stephanopoulos, Biden reaffirmed that stance. He said that the plan applied to individuals making over $400,000.

While there are numerous issues that we have reported with Biden’s tax plan, it seems that Joe Biden directly misled the American people as well. On Wednesday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that Biden’s plan applies to American families, not individuals as Joe Biden said. That’s a sharp difference for many Americans.

In fact, millions of Americans who have multiple streams of income into their home will see a tax increase under the Biden plan. The same plan where Biden commented, “If you make less than $400,000, you won’t see one single penny in additional federal tax.”

During the campaign, Biden also said that anyone (individual) that made less than $400,000 would not see an increase in their taxes and he discussed rolling back the Trump tax plans. It seems Biden has no issue lying to the American people.

Biden and the Democrats are committed to raising taxes on Americans, even those who they said would not be subject to new taxes. They claim that Americans are suffering, while they give away billions to foreign governments and plan to take more money from Americans to fund their radical wishlist.
