The Real Story of Joe Biden’s Gun Safety Plan

President Joe Biden fulfilled his promise when he took executive action on gun control just a few short days ago. He called on Congress to act but took measures that he believed would be acceptable to the American public as he and the radical-left started their war on guns in the media. The problem is that the orders he passed were not aimed at gun safety at all.

Take for example the pistol stabilizing brace that he took measures to restrict with the executive order. He cited that the reason for the move was the Colorado shooting, where such a brace was used. The restriction hurts thousands of Americans who may have physical limitations who rely on those braces in order to use their firearm safely.

Or we can take a look at his comments about the “ghost” guns that he and the radicals are after. He asked for new rules for the regulation of these parts, but as has been mentioned countless times, these are not the firearms that are being used in the mass shootings across the country.

Both of these steps are not an attempt to curb gun violence, but a direct action taken against the American people. It’s a direct act against American business in an attempt to disrupt and destroy a gun industry that is the largest anywhere in the world.

If you don’t believe me, you have to listen to other statements by Biden to see exactly where he is going with this. He said that the gun industry is the only one that the manufacturers face no liability for their products being used in a crime. He compared it to the tobacco industry, which is simply not a fair comparison.

But Biden took his move one step farther by naming David Chipman as the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Chipman was a registered lobbyist for the group Everytown for Gun Safety, a group founding by former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Multiple gun control advocacy groups have endorsed Biden’s nomination of the gun control enthusiast.

Soon after his nomination, the NRA released a statement on Chipman’s nomination. In the statement, the NRA had these words to say, “It’s hard to imagine choosing a nominee who is more hostile to the rights of American gun owners than Chipman.”

Chipman, in his gun control work, supported a case against the Second Amendment where it was argued that the Constitution does not limit a city’s ability to ban firearms, as in the Washington DC handgun ban. That’s the mindset that Biden wants to bring to the ATF, one that the Constitution does not matter and that the Second Amendment, as Biden would say, is not absolute.

With these steps, Biden is not taking aim at gun safety at all. He is taking aim at Americans, their rights to protecting their family and property and their businesses. Biden would love nothing more than to force more businesses to close across the country, especially any businesses related to guns, which is exactly what will happen as he continues to clamp down with regulations.

Mom and pop gun stores that are making a living supplying rural America with their guns and ammunition will be forced to comply with new regulations, which will cripple their businesses costing them thousands. All while Joe Biden and the radical-left sit back and laugh as they continue their dismantling of American freedoms.

The Second Amendment is very clear. “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The President has fired the first shot in the war on guns and is taking steps to infringe upon your rights to own a firearm.

While the mainstream media and the radical-left will tell you this is directly aimed at gun violence, nothing could be further from the truth. This is not an attack on gun violence at all. It’s a direct attack on Americans and American business. It’s an attack on our safety and our freedom.
