The U.S. economy reported an increase of 266,000 jobs in April and the unemployment rate rose to 6.1%, according to Department of Labor data released Friday.
Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 266,000 in April, badly missing the one million new jobs expected by economists according to The Wall Street Journal.

Biden delivered a speech Friday in which he attempted to spin the miss as a win for his administration showing that Democrats’ massive stimulus is working.
