President Joe Biden was originally scheduled to receive his daily briefing, meet with the national security team on the Afghanistan crisis, meet with Israel’s prime minister, and meet with governors who have agreed to accept Afghan refugees, but the schedule was amended after a pair of explosions cause U.S. military and civilian casualties.

Later in the morning, the President will then meet with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget Mick Mulvaney, and the Office of Legislative Affairs.
