BBB is Dead, What is Plan B?

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are failing. They thought their transformative Socialist Build Back Better Bill was a done deal. They convinced themselves that the majority of Americans supported their Bill. They knew they had all the Democrat Senators on board, and Kamala would cast the deciding vote and voilà. Well, there are two problems. The American people do not support the Bill, and neither do two Senators, Sinema of Arizona and Manchin of West Virginia. It appears that these two moderate Dems are the only ones concerned about the outrageous cost of Build Back Better. Thank God and give them the intestinal fortitude to stay strong and not bend to their party.

Biden overplayed his hand and was not smart enough to know his party and their level of support. Just like you don’t put a Bill on the floor if you don’t have the votes, you don’t base your Presidency on a Bill that has inadequate support. The majority of the country does not want to transform America. America may need some tweaks, but it does not require a total makeover. Biden needs this plan to turn the tide on a disastrous first year. He is not going to get it. This week, the memo went out as everyone on the Left, including the mainstream media, pivoted their focus to Voting Rights.

The Democrats have erroneously claimed that the voting laws passed in Red states are infringing on voting rights. They cannot substantiate their claims, but their talking points are all that their supporters hear. As detailed in the Constitution, voting is controlled by each state. The Left wants to nationalize the process. This radical change would never survive the Courts. They also want to see the voting age reduced to 16. This would allow indoctrinated high school kids to participate and more than likely vote Left. The Progressives want to see immigrants casting ballots. New York is allowing green card holders to vote in local elections. Non-citizens casting votes in United States elections is an insult to citizens. Citizens have a right to vote. Non-citizens do not. Period.

I wrote this past week about the Democrats’ efforts to destroy this country. Watering down the rights and benefits of citizenship is one step in their process. The Democrats do not have the votes to get a bill through the Senate with the sixty vote filibuster. Senator Kyrsten Sinema has already committed to not voting to waive the filibuster. There is nothing to indicate success for the Left on passing any voting reform bill. If only Plan B is there, then 2021 will close as a disastrous first year for the Biden/Harris Team and their agenda.

The failure to push through the BBB and Voting Reform will add fodder to the speculation of who will be on the ballot in 2024. It will also add fuel to the tsunami building for the midterms. The turnover in the House and Senate could be the greatest ever. The Dems deserve this impending blowout. They got Trump out of the White House, but they have not the personnel or the plan beyond that. The Radical Left, already feeling their party has deceived them, will revolt against the moderates.

The infighting and destruction of the Democrats will be fun to watch for the next three years as they groom Buttigieg for 2024. What a mess.
