COVID booster shots approved without consulting advisory committees

Late last week, the FDA and CDC both approved Pfizer COVID booster vaccines for teenagers 16 and up. The mainstream media and radical left immediately started pushing for everyone in the approval range to get their booster shots.

But the booster shots did not go through the full approval as they should have. In fact, both the CDC and the FDA skipped advisory committees as part of routine steps to approve the vaccines.

Lifesite News reports, “In its authorization, the FDA sidestepped consulting its Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC), an independent body of vaccine advisers, admitting in its December 9 press release that the FDA purposely did not meet with the committee.” On its own, the FDA determined that there was no need for further discussion regarding the vaccine.

Soon after the FDA’s decision, the CDC approved the vaccine booster as well. The CDC spokesman said they strongly encouraged anyone 16 and older to receive the booster shot if it had been 6 months or more since they received their initial Pfizer vaccine.

All of this seems to go against the continued evidence regarding how young adults respond to COVID, the safety of the vaccine, and reported side effects that young adolescents are prone to experience after receiving the vaccine.

Data continues to show that the younger and healthier people are not prone to serious illness as a result of COVID. They are susceptible to higher incidents of myocarditis and other serious illness following a vaccine, however. That is not just US studies, but studies from around the world.

Yet, the CDC, FDA, and other government agencies insist that you must blindly follow the guidance that they give in regards to COVID vaccines. They insist that the group with the least risk be vaccinated just like those with the most risk.

In many instances, the reasoning given to vaccinate are to help “control the spread of COVID.” But the vaccine is not curbing the spread of COVID. The CDC admits this on its own website, but continues to leave the language up that COVID vaccines will “prevent infection.”

How can anyone consider the vaccines legitimate when there is no discussion about the vaccines, their effectiveness, but also the significant amount of risk that is associated with the vaccines to the younger generation? We can’t. We can only take this as another step in the tyrannical movement in the name of “public health.”

There are far too many alternative treatments that can be considered to blindly follow the vaccine guidance. That is not a plug for ivermectin or anything else specifically. I am just saying that there are many ways to combat illness in our day. We have been blessed with some of the greatest developments in medical history, but we cannot consider any of them in favor of an unproven vaccine.
