The originator of ‘the big lie’ who, to this day, insists that the 2016 presidential election was stolen from her – could be a top primary candidate for Democrats in 2024, according to a new poll.
Zogby analytics released a poll Wednesday that asked how Democrat voters would vote in the 2024 primaries if Joe Biden was included on the ballot or not.
The polling question that included Biden shows that respondents chose Michelle Obama as a distant second choice, with Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders rounding out the top three also-rans.
But, what happened when they asked how the same group would vote if Joe decided not to run again is other-universe kind of crazy – Hillary Clinton takes the third spot away from Bernie!
Splitting up support that previously went to Biden, Obama gains 3.3 points, Hillary came out of nowhere to pull almost nine points from Kamala, while Dr. Jill, Ph.D, Abrams, Warren and Newsom all see minimal gains.
It is unclear why Clinton doesn’t show in the ‘with Biden’ responses. It could have been that Zogby didn’t include Hillary in that question or that with Joe on the ballot, voters wouldn’t consider Hillary over Eric Adams’ pathetic 1.3% showing.
Also of note is how close Obama and Harris are. Digging deeper in the breakdown and it’s a real, honest-to-goodness, horse race. Obama would narrowly edge-out Harris in large cities (24% to 22%), but rural voters would pick Harris over Obama 20% to 15%.
Michelle is unlikely to run, especially in an environment where Democrats are considered half a step above pure evil by most voters. That leaves the possibility of a three-way DNC 2024 presidential primary race between, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. Oof.
Things are looking bleak for the Donkey party in both 2022 and 2024. America, on the other hand, just might survive these imbeciles.
