Fox Business Panel Reacts to Report that Hamas, Hezbollah Could Cross US Border

A panel on Fox Business Network were stunned by a Daily Caller News Foundation report regarding a memo from United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) warning that Hamas and Hezbollah could infiltrate through the U.S.-Mexico border.

DCNF Investigative Reporter Jennie Taer reported that CBP’s San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division sent out the memo Friday, warning that the radical Islamic terrorist groups could enter the United States. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have attacked Israel since Hamas launched a deadly attack in southern Israel Oct. 7 that killed at least 1,400 people.

“Of all the things that have gone wrong, purposely gone wrong under the Biden Administration, the fact that the border is wide open is really just inexplicable. Is it just a desire to have untold numbers, mainly of Hispanics, come into the country who will eventually become Democrat voters? I don’t know,” Liz Peek told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. “It’s incredible to me that the country has not stood up and really screamed at this administration, particularly because, thanks to Governor Abbott, we do have these people, migrants coming into all our cities across the country, it’s a financial problem. It’s a fentanyl problem. And now we know, absolutely we know, it is truly a security problem.

“None of this moves the dial. Mayorkas, Biden, and everybody else assures us that the border is closed, that there is no risk,” Peek continued. “They are lying to the American people. And this is honestly — I think this is grounds for impeachment of both of those people.”

Over 2.45 million illegal immigrants have been encountered at the U.S.-Mexico border during fiscal year 2023, accordingto data released by United States Customs and Border Protection, following 2,378,944 encounters in fiscal year 2022 and 1,734,686 in fiscal year 2021. Fox News reported another 600,000 migrants evaded CBP in fiscal year 2022.

“While we have terrorists crossing the border, while there is an escalation in the war over there in the Middle East, we’ve got President Biden on vacation walking on the beach, tweeting about the existential threat of climate change,” Mark Tepper, CEO of Strategic Wealth Partners, said. “I’m sorry, President Biden. Look, there’s more important things right now, obviously our border is an imminent problem and a potential World War III sounds a heck of a lot more like an existential crisis than climate change to me.”
