Deplorables Now Have A Different Orientation

Hillary Clinton put her political foot in her mouth In 2016 when she lumped all MAGA Republicans into what she called her “Basket of Deplorables.” She went on to say, “They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that and he (Donald Trump) has lifted them up.” In one ill-advised comment, Hillary Clinton insulted and isolated one-half of the voting block and gave the election to Donald Trump. This is what the Democrats call unifying America. This is how the Democrats bridge the divide between the Left and Right. The Democrats have learned little in eight years, and some continue to make ignorant stereotyping comments about the character of American Republicans. Nancy Pelosi is the latest to utter offensive words about Republicans.

Speaking at the 2024 Texas Tribune Festival on Saturday, Pelosi was pressed by podcast host Kara Swisher on why the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump is so close. She explained, “There are people who will never be, shall we say, inclined to support Democrats because of – they just have a different orientation toward women, people of color, LGBTQ, you know, they just are not ever going to be there,” Pelosi said. “So, say that’s about like 30% or something like that… of the Republicans.

Pelosi went on, “And then you have very, very rich people who do not really want to pay taxes or have any regulation of clean air, clean water, any of that. So you have to deal with that. Now, it’s not as many very, very rich people, but it’s a lot of money that goes into a campaign.”

Nancy Pelosi is 84 years old. She was one of the people who pressed Joe Biden, who is 81, to step down from the 2024 election because of his troubles with acuity, but after listening to the rambling former Speaker, she should have taken her own advice. Nancy Pelosi’s train has left the station.

Nancy Pelosi grew up in Baltimore, but she is, like Kamala Harris, a San Francisco Liberal, which is a smooth way of saying these two women are politically to the left of Bernie Sanders. They are full-bore Socialists. If they are not saying something stupid like Hillary or Nancy, then they are serving up a huge helping of Word Salad, ala Vice President Kamala Harris. The democrat analysts continue to say that Harris is a moderate, and she needs to drive that point home. Harris has to sell that to herself. This is a woman who, as a Senator, was ranked as the most Progressive Radical Senator in Washington.

These folks are amazing, for as much as they claim to be all-inclusive, they cannot get their arms around MAGA Republicans who want nothing more than to restore the values this country was built on. They call us old and stale. If that is the case, we will make the finest bread pudding our mothers made with stale bread. Democrats have the advantage of an adoring media, which is how they can say these outlandish things without pushback. We do not have a different orientation. Our moral compass points true north, and the North Star will lead us forward.
