Kamala’s Last Twelve Days Of Relevance

Vice Presidents are not usually remembered for the time they spent playing second fiddle in an administration. They are remembered only if they become successors or failures in their efforts to take their place at the head of the table in the White House. Kamala Harris has done nothing of note to shine a spotlight on her time as VP, except to be the only one to pull off a coup of her boss and steal his chance at reelection. She had a huge opportunity to become the first Black female president. Still, unfortunately, black women will need to find a more qualified person in the future to achieve that lofty goal. Kamala Harris has two choices for spending the final twelve days of the 2024 campaign. She can get to the finish line on a high note, touting her accomplishments and plans for America’s future, or she can take the low road and bash and defame her opponent to prove she is the lesser of two evils. Since she has little to show for four years and no better path for the future, Kamala will spend the final twelve days of her relevance in the gutter. It won’t be pretty, and it certainly will not be successful.

In today’s media world, we are bombarded with advertising 24/7. Everyone wants to sell something or themselves to a wanting public. You do not find many ads trying to sell you a beautiful new car by telling you how harmful and dangerous their competition is. Nobody would waste their time and money on such a campaign because the American consumer wants to feel good about what they buy and not fear the alternative. The same goes for politicians. Positive, upbeat ads about a candidate’s grand plans to make my life better grab my attention, while negative ads are plentiful but become just noise after a while. Kamala Harris has become just noise.

I heard the Harris campaign would be the first billion-dollar effort to win the presidency. Democrat money is still pouring in to buy success for a failing candidate. Democrats will outspend Republicans two-to-one, but as happened in 2016, Trump will win, not by outspending his opponent but by being the better of the two for America.

Kamala’s plan for the stretch run is especially ugly and conjures up images from ninety years ago. She thinks that painting a picture of Donald Trump as a Fascist, Nazi, Hitler-like Dictator will endear voters to vote for her. Like in every other turn in Kamala Harris’s life, she makes the wrong decision. The Harris campaign is in free fall, and she is performing without a net. She may not have enough momentum to last the final twelve days, but if that’s the case, it will be apropos for a woman who has been ill-qualified for every position she has held in life. In this case, Harris got caught up in the salad and will never get to the main course. America will not miss or remember her.
