I do not favor shock journalism and this is NOT a case of that. I did not go looking for this mess, it landed on my doorstep – and it’s terrible.
I have been receiving phone calls and texts from progressive organizations asking to talk to my 20-year-old daughter. I am usually at work and tell them that I’m her Dad and then I ask if there is anything I can do to help them. They usually hang up abruptly.
The texts I get are usually the typical “are you going to support Kamala”, “women need to support kamala”, or “make sure to vote for kamala.” But, tonight I received a text that is clearly meant to scare my daughter into voting. They are hoping that because she is a young woman that she will vote for Harris. Won’t happen – by her choice, not mine.
Here’s the text:
You know they are only sending this to vulnerable young women and hoping to use peer pressure to force them to vote expecting that they’ll vote for empty-suit Kamala.
This is mean-girl, high-school BS and there is nothing redeemable about it.
If their candidate sucks, they’ll just bully everyone into voting for her anyway.
Pretty much how the labor unions operate. Get in line, or else.
