Trump Takes The Department Of Education To School

Kids, huddle around, and let’s watch Randi Weingarten blow a gasket. The woman who shut down schools and held the government hostage for millions of dollars during COVID with total disregard for students and with one hundred percent allegiance to the teachers and the union is now pointing a finger at Trump and accusing him of abandoning education. Much of those COVID funds were never spent and have probably been laundered through the system and back into union coffers. Randi is unhinged as she appears on every talk show on liberal TV, banging on the desk and accusing Trump of taking money from poor kids for those of his billionaire friends. I am pretty sure you will not find billionaire kids in PS5 in Chicago or Baltimore. You will note that Weingarten will not, and cannot, defend the performance of American public schools or teachers because of their abysmal track record. The IMD World Competitiveness Center reports that the U.S. ranked 12th in its 2024 Competitiveness Report after ranking first pre-COVID in 2018. The results are slipping, but the United States still ranks number one in cost per student. Most agree that the Department of Education and the teacher’s union are responsible for these two trend lines. Weingarten will defend the union to her death, but Donald Trump has already locked the doors and taken the lettering off the Department of Education buildings.

A couple of final notes on Weingarten. She was behind the Biden/DOJ activity to have the FBI investigate parents who dared to debate policies with local school boards. When these parents were concerned about schools remaining closed long after the COVID threat, the inclusion of CRT or DEI in the school curriculum, or even pro-gay or pornographic books in elementary school libraries, they were labeled as Domestic Terrorists, arrested and investigated by the FBI. She also traveled to Ukraine very early in the conflict to ensure Ukrainian children could still attend school as cities were bombed into history.

The Department of Education is relatively new, started by Jimmy Carter in the 1970s. The government’s takeover of our children’s education has been a study of ineptitude. The education system has been instrumental in lowering test scores and increasing costs by introducing Common Core, Critical Race Theory, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. They have helped increase obesity in our children by taking the responsibility of feeding our kids away from parents and introducing a fattening diet filled with harmful chemicals and additives. They have removed God, prayer, the Ten Commandments, and parents from schools and worked tirelessly to indoctrinate multiple generations of kids. They have also worked to stymie patriotism and have rewritten history to foster a hatred of America and her history. And don’t forget the DOE support for transgender boys competing in girl’s sports. There is little that can be said about the Department of Education except by the thousands who this poorly functioning agency employs.

The Lefy will go off on Trump and Musk for shutting down the DOE and will call them dictators and oligarchs. Still, few of these protestors will be able to debate the value of the department and its need in the process of educating our children and preparing them for the competitive world ahead.
