Democrats Need To Define Peaceful

We on the Right need help from our friends on the other side of the aisle. Ever since the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis in 2020, followed by the Summer of Love, we have been watching remote reporters reporting on the peaceful protests, while businesses burn in the background, or they are standing next to an inferno that used to be a police squad car. We have watched the already dwindling police forces, dressed in full tactical gear, ducking as bottles, cans, bricks, or urine-filled balloons are tossed at them by the “peaceful” protesters. The Blue State mayors, governors, and federal reps echo these ridiculous claims. Are they stupid, or do they just believe we are? We trust our eyes and ears, and process what we are observing, and it is far from peaceful; it is chaos. Unless checked, these demonstrations, or riots, continue to escalate. These scenes take on a life of their own, and more people join in as time goes on. Joe Biden chose not to get involved in these outbursts, but Donald Trump has a different view of the job and his responsibility to the American people as their president. Trump believes his primary function is the safety of all Americans, and when he sees property destroyed, law enforcement being out-muscled, and people being injured or worse, he will take action to shut it down.

That is precisely what Donald Trump did this weekend to shut down the riots in Los Angeles. These protesters were showing their angst against ICE deporting illegal aliens who posed a threat to Americans. Trump called up the California National Guard to aid local and state police that were having difficulty getting the situation under control. The National Guard is typically under the control of the governor. Governor Newsom had no intention of using the Guard, and was openly miffed and critical of Trump usurping his authority. He likened Trump’s action to that of a dictator. In a typical Democrat response to a Trump action they disagree with, California filed suit against Trump on Monday morning.

The Democrats were unified in their criticism and blamed the escalation from peaceful to destructive on Trump and ICE. Newsome, Bass, even Kamala Harris who wants to be governor of California, all read from the same talking points as they condemned Trump and Tom Homan. The videos cannot be denied. The waving of Mexican flags as they burn American flags. Seeing bricks as they crash through the. Windshields of police cruisers. The burning of cars. These are all peaceful acts in the eyes of people on the Left. These are the acts of criminals to those of us with common sense and a moral compass. We need arrests. We need accountability for these riots. We need to arrest the organizers on the street and those financing them. We cannot allow these gatherings to fester for days before we shut them down. And if the Newsoms, Basses, and Harrises of the world want to interfere with law enforcement, then let them take the perp walk to court.
