The FBI in Michigan stopped a potential “violent attack” planned for Halloween weekend, FBI Director Kash Patel said Friday.
Multiple suspects were arrested Friday morning in the alleged plot, Patel said in an X post, adding that more details were to come. Michigan FBI agents “were present in the cities of Dearborn and Inkster this morning conducting law enforcement activities,” the FBI’s Detroit field office told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland,” Patel wrote.
“Protect the Homeland,” FBI Director Dan Bongino wrote in response to Patel’s post.
