“They Are Just Creating Fear,” says the Victim Worth $30M

Why do the legacy media’s talking heads continue to give Representative Ilhan Omar face time without asking her the obvious questions about her questionable, if not illegal, life choices, and how she amassed $30M in net worth in a year? Let’s put that thought on hold for a second and address her reactions and responses to the fraud in her home state. I am focused on Omar’s appearance on CBS’s Face the Nation, and she was questioned timidly by host Margaret Brennan. I say timidly because I am frustrated by all journalists. They do not appear to listen to answers and rarely, if ever, have a follow-up, even when the answer begs for one. On this show, Omar was being queried about the massive fraud in Minnesota, the role of the Somali community, and the ambivalence of the politicians to the magnitude of the crime. I would expect no less from Omar than the defensive posture she took, because she knows her people are guilty as hell and is probably involved, too. Her defense, however, bordered on ludicrous as she went on to blame the Trump administration for making it an issue and on independent journalist Nick Shirley, who was doing the job the politicians neglected to do. This is one case where Omar should have fallen on her sword and condemned her community for defrauding and disrespecting the country and people who took these Somalis in when their country was imploding. This is Somali gratitude. Steal from the very people who saved you.

The Minnesota situation is not new and goes back at least a decade. The local FOX affiliate in Minneapolis has video of Somalis leaving the Minneapolis airport with suitcases filled with cash, over ten years ago. Every politician in Minnesota turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to the matter, except for AG Ellison who was caught on tape taking political contributions and support in exchange for his silence on what he knew was happening as billions of dollars were being stolen from federal relief programs. Instead of Omar seizing the opportunity to fall on her sword, admit the problem, and offer a solution, she doubled down and went on the offense against Trump. Her claim is that the ICE agents are stirring fear in the Somali neighborhoods and that these people are being prevented from going about their lives. Children are afraid to leave their homes to go to school. Omar contends that there is nothing to see in Minnesota and that th 85 people already arrested closed this case. Sorry, Ilhan, but those 85 were just the tip of the iceberg. The day care centers, clinics, and transportation services are still overcharging the government and diverting those funds to gangs in Somalia.

This organized operation in Minnesota is sophisticated, and I have no doubt that Cungresswoman Omar will be connected to this operation. If Brennan did her job, the way Tim Russert did so many years ago, she may have asked the right questions and backed Omar into a corner. The people in charge of rounding up the guilty illegals and getting to the bottom of this cesspool may have changed, but Tom Homan has vowed to Taylor in Minnesota until the job is done, and that means criminals deported, and people guilty of fraud behind bars.

As for Ilhan Omar, she has some questions to answer on where the $30M she and her second husband have squirreled away in a year. She also needs to explain her first marriage to her brother to skirt immigration laws. It is very probable that she is in this country illegally, in which case, reelection is not as big a concern as what she will wear in the hot Somali summer.
