Liberals Are Not Just Radical, They Have Abandoned Their Conscience

Conscience is defined as a person’s moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as a guide to one’s behavior. Right and wrong can sometimes be debated, but usually, it is as clear as black and white. The Democrats no longer see striving for what is right is not as important as doing what is best to guarantee their hold on power. They have abandoned their conscience for control their supporters and power. Today’s Democrats are not the Party of 50 or even 20 years ago, which is why they are now called Radical, Progressive, or Democratic Socialist.

One only has to look to the current election cycle and the Democratic candidates in Maine and New Jersey, who are backed by the majority of Democrats.The most important thing a Democratic candidate must obtain is the endorsement of Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed Socialist, and Elizabeth Warren, a woman who gained access to college by lying about her heritage, proclaiming she was of American Indian lineage. Graham Platner, who is a Senate candidate in Maine, has a Nazi tattoo on his chest of the logo of the SS guards who facilitated the extermination of 6 million Jews. He denounced a Purple Heart recipient, saying that the Taliban should have finished the job. He lied about his military disability, and whether he even has permission to work his oyster farm or run for Senate. His wife turned over to his campaign the content of sex texts he had been exchanging, possibly with minors, and then had his wife face the cameras and deny it. He is not for any specific policy, but against anything promoted by the Republicans, and especially Donald Trump.

The candidate in New Jersey may even be worse on the character scale, if bottom-feeders can be ranked. Dr. Adam Hamawy has ties to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, backs the terrorists who invaded Israel on October 7, wants to eliminate ICE, and he backs Medicare for all to be paid for by eliminating military funding. Despite these negative elements, he has the endorsements of high-profile progressives such as Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ro Khanna. Both Platner and Hamawy are veterans.

The Democratic Party has decided to overlook any qualities that make a person unsuitable to serve in favor of keeping or turning the seat they seek blue. Democratic leaders are so obsessed with regaining Congress so they can impeach Trump, block any Republican initiatives, and work to push the country further left towards a Socialist country.

This attitude doesn’t just show a lack of concern for the people, but contempt. The citizens of this country, their safety, and their ability to prosper are not of concern to Democrats. It is power and control at any cost, even if the people they support oppose everything Americans see as right.

They have little concern for life as they support both abortion and euthanasia. They defend open borders, and when dangerous illegals are apprehended, they protest for their release. They have no limit to the taxing of citizens while spending millions on illegals and the homeless. They think we still need to atone for slavery when this is one of the only countries on earth that went to war to end slavery at the cost of over 600,000 lives. They have shown they will not stop until they tear this country to the ground. Thank God, half the country says this will never happen.
