DSA Shows True Colors With Platform Announcement

Those true colors appear to be a red flag with a white sickle. Let’s cut through the semantics. There is nothing Democratic about this group, and Socialists might be a stretch, too. America should never be included in their moniker as they look to destroy the greatest country on Earth. These people are, at best, anarchists and possibly treasonous. One thing is very clear. These petulant children are ignorant about America and certainly about the Constitution, which means nothing to these folk. They want to tear it up like Nancy Pelosi’s copy of a Trump SOTU speech.

I listened to a few experts analyze the announcement, and I think they missed the key point. Co-Chair of the DSA, Ashik Siddique, explained their ludicrous planks, but she first made a subtle admission. She claimed that Republicans have their platform and Democrats have theirs, but DSA has a platform that is distinct from the other two. Forget the Democrats’ big tent thinking, these people have used the Democrats. DSA is a third party that got itself onto the Democratic primary ballots, used Democratic Party money, and knocked some Democratic incumbents out of office. These people are not riding a Trojan Horse into town; they are a parasite that is infecting our political system for the purpose of destroying our country.

Some, if not all, of the planks of their platform indicate clearly that they have never read our Constitution and have no respect for the document. In addition to replacing the President with the “head honcho,” here are some of their goals:

• Elimination of the Presidency, the Senate, and the Supreme Court
• Elimination of the War Department, ICE, and borders
• Expanding the voter rolls to include convicted felons and non-citizens, and eliminating the Electoral College
• Eliminating the 40-hour work week to be replaced with whatever the worker wants to contribute
• Universal Rent Control and government support for any legal action against landowners.
• The core of the platform is said to be Workers Deserve More, but these people have never held down a job. They are professional students who our education system has fully indoctrinated. Let’s stick a microphone in front of Randi Weingarten’s face and have her justify these products of a flawed educational system.
• The list drones on, but it is not worth giving it credence.

These people need to be stopped. We have had many threats to our country: World Wars, Pandemics, BLM, the Democrat Party, Global Warming, and in some eyes, AI. None are existential, but DSA is. If they are ever allowed to reach numbers where they have some power in Congress, then America may be placed in hospice, and she will be on life support.

The Democratic Party has to step up as the first wall of defense. They must denounce, cut off support, stop funding, and eliminate access to campaign info that could help any DSA candidate win a general election. If people like Sanders, Harris, Tlaib, Cortez, or Omar support or call themselves members of DSA, they must be ostracized.

This is no joke or hyperbole. This may be the first true existential threat to America, and every American, regardless of political affiliation, must fight back against this insurrection.
