Europe Must Defend Spain, Or Every Western Border Will Fall

The West has reached a point where not only does it face an invasion, but also, to make things worse, it invites its own destruction.

Do we want to be wiped out, both in the USA and in Europe, both demographically and culturally? If not, the culprits of this weaponization of migration must be identified and stopped. The latest news from Spain proves this point emphatically.

For years, Western elites have treated illegal migration as an unfortunate humanitarian crisis — a but like a natural phenomenon to be managed through endless bureaucracy and virtue signaling. They are now confronting a far more dangerous reality that conservatives have warned about for a decade: Mass migration is in fact a weapon.

The chaos unfolding at Ceuta, Spain’s enclave on the North African coast, should send shockwaves through every nation that still believes in sovereign borders. Tens of thousands of young men swarmed Spanish territory in a matter of days. Intelligence sources confirm what basic common sense suggests: Moroccan authorities actively facilitated the surge.

Security forces do not simply lose control of a militarized perimeter of that scale overnight. The Moroccan side was actively involved.

This was not a breakdown of law and order. It was test to see whether Europe possesses the spine to defend its soil, whether Western allies stand together when a frontline nation is pressured, whether hostile regimes can deploy human waves as political blackmail with total impunity.

Americans should recognize this tactic instantly. The fundamental principle governing the U.S. southern border applies with equal force across the Atlantic. A nation that cannot — or will not — control who enters its territory has ceased to function as a sovereign state. And Spain’s border is not merely a European concern. It is a vital flank of the broader Western world.

If foreign regimes or criminal networks can overwhelm borders to apply geopolitical pressure, no Western democracy is safe. Imagine if tens of thousands of migrants suddenly breached the Texas border with the explicit backing of Mexican authorities.

No American administration would treat that as a humanitarian dilemma, but as an act of aggression demanding immediate, overwhelming response.

Europe must show that exact same resolve. If Rabat engineered this assault, it must face immediate, devastating consequences. Morocco must be forced to accept the immediate return of every single illegal entrant and pay full restitution for the damage inflicted on Spanish sovereignty.

The West has seen this playbook repeatedly. Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko deployed human streams against Poland and the Baltics as hybrid warfare. Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used millions of migrants to blackmail Greece and squeeze concessions from Brussels.

When democracies respond with weakness, compromise, or financial bribes, they do not buy peace. They invite the next assault.

Things are straight forward. Morocco must provide a report to Spain and the EU within a particular deadline, that they arrest and prosecute those responsible. Government officials, police or military  involved must be brought to justice and face harsh sentences, and compensation to Spain must be paid. If Morocco does not agree, then flights, visas and trade must be suspended.

A border breach that carries no consequences becomes an open invitation. If Brussels, Washington, and Western capitals do not back Spain today, they ensure their own borders will be breached tomorrow.

You cannot negotiate with weaponized migration, and you cannot posture your way out of an invasion. Defend the border with absolute force, identify and punish state actors who enable attacks on your homeland, or prepare to watch every border in the West collapse.
