Socialist and “Liberal” Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

One aspect of pursuing a happy life: living in the moment. These pinheads on television are predicting what’s going to happen five weeks from now in the midterm vote. They are wasting your time. They don’t know what’s going to happen because things will change.  The Trump administration is not just sitting around doing nothing. They are trying to solve the Iran situation, high prices, cost of gas, etc. [emphasis added]. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. If they do, it changes the entire election.  Once you start to hear prediction stuff, change the channel. … It’s impossible to predict what will happen tomorrow, let alone five weeks from now.  If you need information, go to the news outlets you trust.  Last week, I reported on a column from General David Patreus about the situation in Iran. The stats are very troubling for the Mullahs in Tehran. That story was suppressed by the corporate media. Most Americans know the fix is in.

Bill O’Reilly, “Living in the Moment” (10/2/26)

The Fabian [socialist] society initially adopted a coat of arms depicting a wolf in sheep’s clothing, which can still be seen in the stain glass window at the London School of Economics.  … Arch atheist, George Bernard Shaw, one of the Fabian Society’s most distinguished members, described the Fabian strategy as “methods of stealth, intrigue, subversion and the deception of never calling socialism by its right name.”

Anthony Walsh, Answering the New Atheists (pp. 52-53)

Bill O’Reilly’s excellent article about the upcoming mid-terms titled “Living in the Moment” refers to Americans, manipulated by a dishonest media, foolishly live in the moment rather than focusing on the extremely long-term problems, like the Iran nuclear threat, that are a real threat to the American people.  Yes, Trump’s popularity seems to be way down now.  One must say “seems” because the dishonest pollsters are often way off in ways that support the Democrats (Leftists).   O’Reilly’s main point is that Trump is actually trying to solve the problems, like the Iran nuclear problem, rather than kicking them down the road like Obama and many others in both parties.  Here is Google’s answer to the question of whether Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran solved the problem (Google, putting it mildly, not exactly a right-wing platform),

President Obama’s 2015 Iran nuclear deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), temporarily [emphasis added] solved the immediate proliferation crisis by blocking Iran’s pathways to a bomb, but it did not permanently or completely solve the broader regional and long-term nuclear challenge. … [It was incomplete because key restrictions on enrichment capacities were temporary, expiring between 2026 and 2031 [and it had a] Narrow Scope: The agreement did not address Iran’s ballistic missile program or regional proxy activities [and it was marred by] Political Fragility: The accord relied heavily on strict compliance rather than shifting underlying state behavior.

Despite the media’s scripted never-ending fawning over the Messiah’s (that would be Barak Obama) alleged genius, His nuclear deal would have had Iran now confidently citing the deal to move forward towards nuclear weapons (conveniently pushed past Obama’s term in office).

Typical of this media gaslighting so detrimental to the country is Jessica Tarlov’s regular performances on The Five on Fox News.  To be fair, Tarlov is smarter than many of the Democrats’ regular media lackeys (Joe Scarborough: “This is the best Biden ever” and Don Lemon: “Women are considered to be past their prime at in their 20s and 30s and maybe 40”, etc.).  In our “news” media, literal absurdity is standard fare, not the exception.  Tarlov currently responds to defences of Trump’s efforts to actually solve problems, rather than kick them down the road, by reading out her long deceptive lists of deflections, slurs and bumper stickers during her attempts to filibuster on The Five.  Shockingly, Trump is actually worried about mushroom clouds over American cities, not just the next mid-term elections or approval from Jane Fonda and Sharon Stone.   Imagine that!  Instead of worrying about actually solving such genuine problems as nuclear blackmail or nuclear war, Tarlov regularly points to polls that show Trump’s unpopularity.  But polls don’t solve problems.  Ask Harry Truman and John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.  Unfortunately, it is now standard for professional sophists to cite media-fed negative polls to prevent any attempt at actual problem-solving.  Who’s up this week?  Who’s down?  Who cares about a nuclear Iran?  Who cares about the fentanyl brought across the southern border?  When the time comes, because of our deliberate incompetence, we can always try to muddle through the crisis with whatever dunce, either male or female, the Democrats are trying to install into the presidency (as opposed to actually trying to solve real world problems).

Although Jesse Watters, Kayleigh McAneny and Greg Gutfeld do a great job refuting Tarlov’s transparent gaslighting and deflections while Tarlov sits there looking aggrieved, they should point out more regularly and more clearly that Tarlov’s strategy is always to filibuster with a long list of incompletely formulated, misleading slogans and bumper stickers instead of dealing with the actual issue at hand in the detail required. Here is Google answer, with references, to the question whether Tarlov defended Biden’s mental acuity during his alleged presidency (Was Biden really even there for much of his last 3 years?)

Unfortunately, Tarlov defended Biden’s fitness and dismissed claims regarding his cognitive decline during his presidency. [1, 2]

Pushback on Fox News: As a liberal co-host on Fox News programs like The Five and Outnumbered, Tarlov repeatedly pushed back against conservative attacks regarding Biden’s age and mental acuity. [1, 2]

Calling Rumors “Reckless”: Early on and throughout his term, she characterized speculation about [Biden’s] dementia or severe cognitive issues as irresponsible, comparing them to political attacks seen in past elections. [1, 2]

Deflecting to Counter-Arguments: When concerns or gaffes were raised on-air, she frequently defended Biden by turning [deflecting] the conversation toward Donald Trump’s own physical and verbal missteps, questioning Trump’s cognitive fitness instead. [1, 2]

In fact, Biden’s slide towards his natural vegetative state was obvious to anyone with functioning eyeballs and a minimal level of respect for this thing called “the truth”.

Similarly, Tarlov initially believed Biden administration’s obvious lie that the southern border was secure until a Foxnews drone showed “hordes” of people streaming over it.  Tarlov needed a Foxnews drone to do for her what her own eyeballs on the nightly local news could not?    Really?

Tarlov has a piece of paper from the Fabian-Socialist-Founded London School of Economics (LSE) that has the expression “Ph.D.” on it.  If one wants to divine Tarlov’s real political goals, as opposed to the scripted moderate “liberal” version she performs on Fox for an outsized salary of evil capitalist dollars, one might take a clue from the Fabian Socialists who founded Jessica’s LSE.

The Fabian socialists believed in a gradual transition of society to socialism rather than the radical (and violent) transition supported by Karl Marx and those other socialist and communist lovelies.  In order to effect this gradual transition to the poverty and tyranny required by all socialism, a great deal of sophistry, gaslighting, deflection, bumper stickers, slogans and smears are required.  Tarlov is happy to provide them on The Five.   A first year community college critical reasoning text, with chapters on fallacies, proper techniques of definition, valid and invalid inferences, and the like is not helpful (which is also why these can no longer be found at Harvard, the London School of Economics or in our other alleged “educational” institutions).  Well, at least that is preferable to killing and jailing people.   Socialism, as Milton Friedman points out, along with the poverty and tyranny it inevitably brings in tow, here we come – not by the explicitly violent path, but by the extremely overpaid slower deceptive manipulative gaslighting path.

O’Reilly’s point is that Trump is unpopular because is he is trying to solve real problems, for example, these things called mushroom clouds over American cities in our possible future.  Trump knows the folks are less concerned with the spectre of Armageddon than they are with the prices of gas or eggs, but someday “the folks” may be forced to deal with it in ways they cannot even imagine now.

Fortunately, Trump is not interested in the polls, the sophistries, the smears and slogans, trumpeted by political partisans in the Democrat Party and in their propogandists in what’s left of our “news” media.  It is fair to criticism Trump, just as it was fair to criticize Truman or Kennedy or Reagan, as long as one admits that, as O’Reilly points out, Trump is “not just sitting around doing nothing. [He is] trying to solve the Iran situation, high prices, cost of gas, etc.”Actually solve them, not just kick the can down the road like the Messiah or Biden.  Unfortunately, it is far easier, and much more lucrative, for what’s left of our “news media”, to forget the actual problems, and work to put “the fix” in for their own political party by employing the usual “methods of stealth, intrigue, subversion and the deception of never calling socialism by its right name” – even on Foxnews.
