Newt Gingrich Stands Alone!

Breaking News

Breaking News just came out this evening that ALL of Newt Gingrich’s top campaign staff members have resigned due to “irreconcilable differences” in the direction of the campaign!

This now leaves a gaping hole for Mr. Gingrich to try to plug, all the while trying to continue his presidential campaign, which has gotten off to quite a rocky start already.

The news report is that his staff could not agree with him on the direction of the campaign. It is reported that the disagreements were about how to use campaign resources including the candidate’s time.

But Mr. Gingrich is not throwing in the towel. In a written statement he said:

“I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring. The campaign begins anew Sunday in Los Angeles.”

I have to wonder if Mr. Gingrich is delusional, or if he truly is “in this to win”. I have to stifle back a laugh at the last comment, because he seems to be shooting himself in the foot more than helping himself in everything that he does surrounding this campaign.

Mr. Gingrich has already gone from bad to worse since he officially announced his campaign approximately one month ago.

Could this very well be the shortest campaign in history?

Not if ole Newt has his way about it!
