Herman Cain reportedly to endorse Newt on Monday

Herman Cain suspended his presidential campaign on Saturday ending it with a promise to endorse one of the other candidates – on Monday, he might.

Herman Cain is reportedly going to endorse former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, although campaign staff have not confirmed the report.

On Monday, Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon half-heartedly refuted the rumor saying, “I’d ask them where they are getting their information?”

Since Cain only suspended his campaign, he is still permitted to raise money and can transfer that money to another candidate.

Newt has only come up in the polls lately and has not yet had the organization to raise significant funds – holding 7th place for fund-raising in California and 9th overall[1].
