The Democratic Party Is No More

I’m ashamed to admit this, but I remember when I was growing up, my whole family were Democrats, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents all voted Democrat. However, that changed after Kennedy was shot, according to my family, Kennedy was the last of the true Democrats, a Democrat that believed in small Government, low taxes and a strong defense. They hated Johnson and never voted Democrat again, except for one uncle, he even voted for Jimmy Carter. I remember sitting around the Sunday dinner table, it was the second year of the Carter Presidency, the uncle who voted for Carter was shouting, “you guys were right, I never should have voted for that guy, never again will I vote for a democrat,” and he never did., or anyone else in my family for that matter. I think Carter turned more Democrats into Republicans than any other President.

What has happened to the Democratic Party? How did they move so far to the left, that they have forgotten what America is supposed to stand for? Why, they even removed God from their platform at their 2012 convention. Do you know the first two things that a Communist Government takes away from its people? First is God, the second are guns, which they are in the process of trying to do.

Let’s face it, the Democratic Party is no more, they should be honest and call themselves what they truly are, The Liberal-Progressive Party. Ask yourself this, which party is closer aligned with the beliefs of the Socialist Party, Republicans or the so-called Democratic Party? Even the Democrats have to admit that their beliefs and policies are pretty much what Socialists believe in.

Freedom Foundation President Jacob Hornberger wrote, “There is no difference in principle, between the economic philosophy of Nazism, socialism, communism, and fascism and that of the American welfare state and regulated economy.” Robert Rohlfing of  Canada Free Press wrote, “The Old Democrat Party has been folded into the new one led by those who support socialist policies, this is not breaking news and it is not meant as a derogatory slur either,” wrote Rohlfing. “When you look at a recent poll it shows that those that do support the Democrat Party also lean in the direction of socialism and when you look at those in charge today of the party they emulate it through policies and verbiage.”

Rohlfing went on to say, “The key legislation of this administration is socialized health care, and the battle over the fiscal health of this nation is drawn upon the lines of socialized economic policies so what is the secret? There is no secret at all, but the unwillingness to be honest and embrace the fact that yes the party and those who support it are socialists in their core beliefs. Over ten or so years on political forums and debating with these folks the clear shift has become so blatantly obvious it is a wonder why they still try to hide the fact that they are.”

We know that old saying, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck. Well, Obama thinks like a Socialist, talks like a Socialist and pushes Socialist agendas, so guess what? Obama is a Socialist, of that there is no doubt in my mind, I don’t understand why he just does not come right out and admit it, along with the rest of his party. Doesn’t anyone wonder why the Socialist Party Of America and the Communist Party Of America both back Obama?

The thing that disturbs me the most is, why don’t the American people see what he is and what he is trying to do to our country, are they that blind? I guess that old saying rings true, If you can’t dazzle them with truth, baffle them with bullshit, and Obama certainly has enough bullshit to go around.
