Town to appoint illegal aliens as commissioners

Referring to the new appointees as “undocumented immigrants”, a City Councilman has chosen two illegal aliens to join the health and education and parks and recreation commissions of Huntington Park, California.

32-year-old Jhonny Pineda spoke publicly about his desire to give more traditionally American jobs to illegal immigrants while he ran for his current position. Pineda is living up to his promise by offering high-ranking positions on important commissions to foreign nationals.

Illegal immigration supporters assert that illegals only take the jobs that Americans don’t want. Still listening?

To defend the indefensible, Pineda said publicly that “Huntington Park is a city of opportunity and a city of hope for all individuals regardless of socioeconomic status, race, creed, or in this case, citizenship,” and that “these gentlemen have accomplished a great deal for the city. For that, on behalf of the city council, mayor, and our city, I want to say thank you to them both and I am confident they will do an excellent job on their commission posts.”

The city attorney cleared the appointments and confirmed that there is nothing that requires a commissioner to be a registered voter, a documented citizen or even a resident.

If someone is not a legal resident of the United States, how does a municipality verify their background sufficiently?

California may be leading the nation in law-bending approaches to government. It may not be long before the Golden State becomes the example of why a nation of laws is just that.
