Gas Shortages Reported in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia

Gasoline is becoming a little harder to get and a bit more expensive in the southeast due to the Colonial pipeline disruption.

North Carolina is seeing a statewide shortage with some locals reporting no stations with fuel available to purchase in Asheville and several empty stations in the triad and triangle areas of the state.

Tennessee is experiencing more sporadic shortages and mostly in the more-populated Nashville area.

Georgia is feeling the pain from the Colonial pipeline mess in and around the Atlanta metroplex.

Now we’re receiving reports that southern Virginia is starting to run out of gasoline.

The company operating the Colonial pipeline has said that they are building a bypass to get gasoline flowing again, but no estimate for completion has been provided.
