Donald Trump used Twitter Tuesday morning to rebuff Democrats attempts to poison any attempt to repeal President Obama’s failed health care law.
First, the President-elect used Bill Clinton’s own words to remind Democrats that it’s not just Republicans that see the Affordable Care Act as a failure.
People must remember that ObamaCare just doesn’t work, and it is not affordable – 116% increases (Arizona). Bill Clinton called it “CRAZY”
Continuing the theme of Democrats who see the ACA as neither affordable nor good, Trump echoed Minnesota’s Governor’s comments on the law.
The Democrat Governor.of Minnesota said “The Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) is no longer affordable!” – And, it is lousy healthcare.
President-elect Trump sent the tweets out in response to Nancy Pelosi and other high-level democrats using the media to pre-empt Trump’s plan to repeal Obamacare.
“It’s the old idea of going into a china shop,” said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. “You break it, you own it.”
Pelosi had also used social media to fend-off a republican repeal of the unpopular health care law.
Republicans will leave millions of Americans without health insurance — and worsen the coverage of many more.
Pelosi linked a CNN article in which she says “I would just say to the American people: Take a second look [at the ACA].”
Democrats are also calling out republican efforts as irresponsible as the GOP hasn’t released their plan for a replacement. Pelosi et al may just have to help pass the replacement to see what’s in it.
