Vice President Mike Pence spoke Thursday night at the 2017 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) telling the crowd to disregard “fear-mongering” from the left.
“Over at the White House, I like to say we’re in the promise-keeping business these days,” Pence said – a sentiment reiterated by Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus earlier in the day.
A surprisingly funny line came at the beginning the speech as the VP marked a few differences between him and President Trump.
“You know, I’m a small town guy. He’s big city. I’m Midwest, he’s Manhattan Island. He’s known for his bigger than life personality, his charm, and his charisma. And I’m, like, not,” the vice president admitted.
