Leftist Revolt Against DNC Boss Tom Perez Begins With Calls for #DemExit

Anything short of the installation of Bernie Sanders meat puppet Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) as the top dog at the DNC wasn’t going to go over well with the radical left.

The Minnesota congressman made a perfect Trojan Horse for the watered-down version of communism that Brother Bernie had preached to his flock but the establishment wasn’t going down without a fight.

The radical left’s most terrible nightmare became reality when Obama-Hillary stooge Tom Perez won the chairmanship and will continue to run the DNC in the finest traditions of racketeers like Donna Brazile, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Howard Dean.

Perez made the rounds on the Sunday morning bloviation circuit where he accused President Donald Trump of promoting “chaos and carnage” but that appears to be exactly what his Saturday victory has brought to his own party with many progs now in open revolt.

The loudest voices on the left are furious that Ellison lost and Perez’s magnanimous gesture to placate the raging hordes by installing him in a powerless symbolic position as his deputy was seen by many as more of an insult.

Now many radicals are looking at permanently cutting their ties with the Democrats.

After contentious debate, the Democratic Party has selected a new DNC chairman: Tom Perez. The choice, however, is not being celebrated by everyone in the party. In fact, the progressive so-called “Bernie Sanders wing” of the Democratic Party is up in arms, using the hashtag #DemExit, over Perez’ win.

Progressives favored Keith Ellison, who was backed by Bernie Sanders, and see Perez as another establishment tool that conspired to boost Hillary Clinton over Sanders in the 2016 primary. As The Intercept noted, Perez was overly friendly to big banks as secretary of labor under Obama, granting privileges to banks that plead guilty to market manipulation.

Calls for a #DemExit have now began to resurface, and Twitter has been flooded with disgruntled Democrats looking to leave the party.
