Amazing: Musician Illustrates a Story with a Midi-Sequencer

Musician and creator Mari Lesteberg has invented a new art form – using MIDI sequencing to play music AND illustrate a story.

According to Mari’s description of the video the MIDI drawing is a story about “a little girl who lives in the woods, and what she finds when she enters a dark cave.”

Mari said that both the music and the design were inspired by old school role playing (RPG) games.

The amount of attention to detail and patience it would take to make a MIDI sequence perform a song, tell a story AND illustrate it is almost inhuman but Mari has perfected it.
