UPDATE: OANN’s reporting on this story is in question. Our sources tell us that the story is not true. It is possible that OANN”s sources got ahead of planned actions, were misled or were unreliable.
According to One America News Network, White House sources had revealed that President Trump will fire “multiple people” for leaks of classified information to the media.
The report, filed by Trey Yingst of OANN, relies on unnamed sources who told him that information on three people accused of leaking classified information to the media has been received by the Office of Government Ethics for review.
The outcomes of the ethics reviews will then be given to the president upon his return to D.C. at which time he is expected to fire the alleged leakers.
Leaking classified information is criminal so those fired could also face federal felony charges for their actions.
