Maxine Waters may have cornered the market on batshit crazy but she is hardly the only flaming leftist nutcase in the Democratic party.
The termination of Reince Priebus as White House chief of staff on Friday and immediate appointment of former Marine Corps General John Kelly as his replacement has the loonies howling at the moon.
One of them, a California Democrat named Barbara Lee is going so far as to decry Kelly as an extremist who will militarize the White House.
Congresswoman Lee may not have a James Brown style tinfoil hat like Nutty Waters does but it isn’t for lack of trying.
Lee reacted in a very bizarre manner after it was announced that the former DHS chief would be moving over to the White House by all but accusing him of being a party of a military junta that has seized control of the U.S. government.

Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) slammed President Trump’s decision to appoint Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as his new chief of staff on Friday, saying the appointment “militarizes the White House.”
“By putting Gen John Kelly in charge, Pres Trump is militarizing the White House & putting our executive branch in the hands of an extremist,” Lee tweeted.
Lee did not offer any additional context as to her opinion on Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general who previously headed up U.S. Southern Command.
Kelly, who served as Trump’s Homeland Security chief in the early months of his administration, will start at the White House on Monday, replacing Reince Priebus as chief of staff.
Congresswoman Lee – like Waters – is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus which has driven a good deal of the resistance to President Trump.
Some cynics may suspect that the irrational hatred of the POTUS may be driven at least partly by black on white racism.
God forbid if that is ever publicly expressed because you will forever have a scarlet letter of R for racist burned into your forehead by the political correctness Nazis on the left.
Barbara Lee is just one more nut in the can of California cranks and it’s one HELLUVA BIG can.
