Report: James Comey’s Trump Memos Were Classified

Former FBI Director James Comey may be in a bit of hot water after it was revealed that his memos on conversations with President Donald Trump were classified.

Comey has been a key driver of the Russian conspiracy narrative and his facilitating of a leaked memo to the New York Times to raise pressure for a special counsel showed that he continues to operate as a rogue force.

While the lynch mob is suiting up over yet another New York Times whopper – that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer – another story with far more grave implications was published by the Hill on Sunday.

In a bombshell story, The Hill reports “Comey’s private memos on Trump conversations contained classified material”:

More than half of the memos former FBI chief James Comey wrote as personal recollections of his conversations with President Trump about the Russia investigation have been determined to contain classified information, according to interviews with officials familiar with the documents.

This revelation raises the possibility that Comey broke his own agency’s rules and ignored the same security protocol that he publicly criticized Hillary Clinton for in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election.

Comey testified last month he considered the memos to be personal documents and that he shared at least one of them with a Columbia University lawyer friend. He asked that lawyer to leak information from one memo to the news media in hopes of increasing pressure to get a special prosecutor named in the Russia case after Comey was fired as FBI director.

Another very important question in regard to Comey’s memos is why did he not keep similar memos while conversing with his boss Attorney General Loretta Lynch over the Clinton email matter?

The likely answer is that Comey is a key player in the very real conspiracy to overthrow the legitimately elected President of the United States.

President Trump was quick to pounce on the story as proof that Comey had been leaking classified information to the media via Twitter on Monday morning.

It’s probably relatively safe to say that the media will bury the revelations about Comey’s criminality and go all-in on the Donald Trump Jr. story which has the distinct smell of a Deep State set-up.

The Comey damage control team was on it in a matter of hours though with a Politico story that insists that the Comey memos were retroactively classified.
