Former Fox News Host Eric Bolling lost his job at the news network and his only child within hours of each other on Friday.
A statement from Fox told of their “amicable” separation from Mr. Bolling and then Huffington Post contributor Yashar Ali reported that Eric Chase Bolling, Jr, “Chase,” had been found dead.
“Fox News Channel is canceling ‘The Specialists,’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” FNC said in a statement Friday. “We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”
On Saturday, A tweet by Ali reported that Chase had lost his life the day before.
TMZ reported that Chase had taken his own life, but his father said that they were waiting for the official report and that no signs of suicide were yet apparent.
Boulder police say the matter is still under investigation and would provide no further comment.
