Coroner: Eric Bolling’s son died from opioid overdose

Former Fox News host Eric Bolling announced Thursday night that his son died from an overdose that included opioids according to the medical examiner who performed the autopsy.

“Just received some tragic news from Coroner in Colorado,” Mr. Bolling tweeted. “Eric Chase’s passing has been ruled an accidental overdose that included opioids.”

In a sad coincidence, the announcement came the same day that the President and First Lady publicly announced the administration’s push to end the opioid crisis in America during which President Trump talked about his own brother’s struggle with addiction – a struggle that ultimately killed Fred Trump Jr. at the young age of 41.

“He would have been an amazing peacemaker if he didn’t have the problem, because everybody loved him,” Trump said. “He’s like the opposite of me.”

Bolling then thanked friends and fans for their support and said that the fight against opioid addiction must continue.

“Adrienne and I thank you for your continued prayers and support. We must fight against this national epidemic, too many innocent victims,” he tweeted.

Eric’s son Chase was found dead the same day that Mr. Bolling was fired by Fox News for still unproven allegations of sexual misconduct.

Eric has vowed to continue the fight against the allegations.
