Former Player Claims NFL Protests are ALSO About Gender Pay Gap

Whatever it was that false prophet Colin Kaepernick originally intended to express through his protest of the national anthem last season, it has now evolved to include a vast litany of grievances.

The militant former San Francisco 49ers quarterback made it clear that he was taking a knee to show dissatisfaction with the flag, the country, and the police, sentiments reinforced by his tweets.

When the season opened and Kaepernick wasn’t on an NFL roster, his disciples took his place. First in small numbers and then after Commissioner Roger Goodell declared open war on President Trump, in the hundreds.

The more players that took a knee and stabbed clenched fists into the air, the more that the movement began to morph into something resembling the so-called resistance against Trump’s election that has come to define the political left.

The league has made a big show out of inviting the disgruntled players and their union to New York this week to hash things out and has reportedly agreed to create a “social activism boot camp” as well as sent a letter to Congress advocating for sentencing reform and lower penalties for drug crimes.

The next shift will likely expend to gender politics, in particular, the gender pay gap. At least according to CNN’s newest addition, former NFL player Donté Stallworth, one more nut in can for a network that is already stocked up.

CNN contributor and former NFL receiver Donté Stallworth said Saturday the NFL kneeling protests are also about the “gender pay gap” and “housing discrimination” in addition to police brutality toward minorities and racism.

The former Saints and Eagles star said during an interview on CNN with anchor Ana Cabrera that, “The No. 1 stated goal was to bring awareness to a lot of these issues and again, it’s a broad spectrum of issues. Again, it’s not just police brutality and community policing.

“It’s also, again from what I’m hearing from players directly involved in these talks, they’re telling me it’s also about the gender pay gap, it’s also about housing discrimination, they have so many things that they are interested in and advocating for and they want the NFL to take ownership in and help be able to use the NFL’s platform,” Stallworth added.

It’s really difficult to not see that the NFL is slowly becoming an appendage of the Democratic party itself because as the list of demands grows, it increasingly resembles the party platform.

Stallworth is just a bonehead former jock but there is a larger effort ongoing to shift the kneeling away from the flag to the broader SJW agenda and its working.
