A father shot and killed an armed robber who threatened his family in a San Antonio, Texas Popeye’s restaurant.
A 19-year-old robber approached Carlos Molina and his family around 8:30 Wednesday night while they were eating. When the robber pointed a gun at the man’s family and demanded money Molina told him that he didn’t have any and asked the man to let his family leave. Molina’s children then came out of the restroom at which time the robber turned the gun on them. Molina then drew his concealed carry firearm and fatally shot the robber.
Police say the father is a licensed carrier, is not facing any charges and likely saved several lives.
