President Donald Trump is expected to declassify the FISA memo prepared by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee despite objections by Democrats.
The release of the memo could happen as soon as Thursday afternoon but, according to Fox News’ Jon Roberts, is widely expected to occur Friday morning.
Democrats have spent the last few days raising objections to the release first citing FBI concerns over some of the contents, then, when technical edits were made to satisfy the bureau, liberals complained that edits had been made.
Two options for the publication of the memo are that the White House could publish the memo itself or, after the president declassifies the contents of the memo, the House Intelligence Committee could publish it.
