Liberals Are Once Again Given A Pass

Now we know why Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein didn’t use sterner words in his announcement last Friday of Russian citizens being under indictment for influencing and trying to disrupt the 2016 election. Since President Trump is the assumed culprit for anything the Mueller investigation team discovers that Russia does, we expected serious finger-pointing at Trump and his team, but the charges as described by Rosenstein were muted.

The reason for his down-playing the Russian involvement in American elections is that CNN, MSNBC, the Democrat party, and even an individual American citizen in the form of Michael Moore, were identified as falling for the Russian schemes to upset our elections and sow displeasure among the American populace with future elections. It was disclosed that CNN and MSNBC happily announced on their cable programs where the anti-Trump demonstrations were to be held, and sent out reporters to let the world know how unified the demonstrators were and how they hated Donald Trump, and all of this was planned and coordinated by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. In fact, any thinking, knowledgeable person who has paid attention to international affairs the last 70 or so years would not be surprised at Russian involvement in disrupting an American election. But Democrats, who have expressed only admiration for the Soviet Union and Russia and defended them vehemently in the 1980s as Ronald Reagan and other American conservatives made the case exposing Russia’s murderous, dictatorial methods of ruling the eastern block and explained why they should be opposed with all military and economic tools available at our disposal, loved the lie of Communism.

So with Washington establishment liberals in the media to blame for the disruptions and demonstrations that occasionally got violent, burned buildings and often got people hurt, our Mr. Rosen was crossing T’s and dotting I’s while covering for his liberal establishment pals, but he still would not give an inch on the accusation of Donald Trump as being the most evil man in America.

Of course there will never be a trial for the indicted Russians, but the fact that the Special Investigative team of Mueller and company, investigating Donald Trump, found Russian offenses against America, was all the FBI and the Attorney General wanted the public to hear: It’s all Trump’s fault.

But we still welcome liberals to the reality of the 20th and 21st centuries and the real nature of Russia. You can still defend this evil nation and its total ruler, Vladimir Putin, but at least you have been shown the truth.
