Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held a press briefing Monday ahead of the North Korea Summit between President Donald Trump and Leader Kim Jong-un and their delegates over the denuclearization of the Korean Penninsula.
Pompeo said that the summit is “truly a mission of peace” as he outlined the meetings that have already occurred between U.S. and North Korean delegates and calls the president has made to President Abe of Japan and President Moon of South Korea in preparation for the headline meetings on Tuesday.
