Rush Limbaugh: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Is Nothing but a Sponge Puppet

On his nationally syndicated radio show Monday, host Rush Limbaugh said that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is nothing but a sponge puppet.

Discussing an interview Cortez gave in which she was unable to explain the comment she had made regarding Israel, Limbaugh said, “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is nothing but a sponge puppet. She has heard all of the left-wing slogans. The anti-Israel slogans, the anti-America slogans, the pro-climate change slogans, every slogan there is, she’s heard it and she repeats it.”

Rush Limbaugh’s comments come after Cortez was unable to elaborate on her comments saying “The Israelis are occupying the Palestinians.” When asked to elaborate on her comments, Cortez simply threw up her arms.

 How about the Democrat Party, how about their new heroine, this Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She was being interviewed by some people. She doesn’t even know jack anything. She comes off, “Yes, and of course the Israelis are occupying the Palestinians.”

And the reporter said, “Can you explain that?”

“Well, you know, the settlements.”

“Could you elaborate? The Israelis are occupying the Palestinians?” And she admitted she didn’t know what she was talking about. She didn’t use those words, but she threw her arms up, “Well, you know, I just –” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is nothing but a sponge puppet. She has heard all of the left-wing slogans. The anti-Israel slogans, the anti-America slogans, the pro-climate change slogans, every slogan there is, she’s heard it and she repeats it. And the dummkopfs that make up the Democrat Party base, that’s all they know.”

“So they think she’s a heroine because she can do the slogans right. When asked about it, it’s demonstrable she doesn’t even know what she’s talking about, and she’s the heroine of the modern-day Democrat Party. And she is a dunce! She’s not an amiable one either. And she’s the star of the Democrat Party! It proves she doesn’t know diddly-squat! She has just heard all the propaganda, and she has soaked it up, and she has the ability to repeat it in a way that that idiotic base in the Democrat Party reacts to and thinks is brilliance.”
