President Donald Trump will participate in a Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, call with Jewish leaders and rabbis. Rosh Hashanah begins, with the blowing of the shofar, the ten days of penitence before Yom Kippur.
In the afternoon, the president will travel to Billings, Montana where he will participate in a roundtable with supporters then host another Make America Great Again rally at Rimrock Auto Arena. The president is holding the rally to bolster Matt Rosendale (R) in his bid to unseat incumbent U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D) in the 2018 midterm election. Rosendale had closed to within 3 points of Tester in the most recent poll which was held in July. Trump’s official endorsement of, and appearance at rallies to support, Republican candidates have yielded huge dividends for the GOP.
The president will remain in Montana overnight.
