SAN JUAN, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol Agents along with the Hidalgo County Constables Office disrupt active stash house operation and discover sex offender among those arrested.
Thursday, agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Special Operations Detachment, along with the Hidalgo County Constables Office Precinct 4, identified a stash house operating out of a residence in San Juan, Texas. Inside the house, agents and officers discovered nine illegal aliens from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Agents transported all the subjects to the Weslaco station for processing.
During processing, record checks for a Guatemalan male revealed a previous arrest and conviction in Kansas City, Missouri, for Statutory Rape.
The Border Patrol is processing all subjects accordingly.
