Roger Stone, a longtime confidant of President Trump, was indicted Friday morning on charges in the special counsel’s investigation.
Prosecutors charged Stone with seven counts, including five for false statements, one for witness tampering, and one for obstruction of justice.
He will appear in federal court Friday morning for his first hearing.
