Jussie Smollett Story Completely Falls Apart but Don’t Expect Media Retractions

The narrative of the alleged assault against Jussie Smollett has completely fallen apart. (ABC)

‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett was allegedly attacked by 2 racist and homophobic Trump supporters who were reportedly carrying rope and bleach. His story is unraveling.

The attackers allegedly tied a noose around Smollett’s neck and poured bleach on him in sub-zero temperatures while he was out getting a sandwich from Subway at 2 a.m. So far, police have been unable to verify any aspect of the attack and other parts of Smollet’s story look less likely to be true. First, household bleach (sodium hypochlorite) freezes at about 18 degrees Fahrenheit so if those two men had been outside with it when it was -10, it would have been impossible to pour. If they had managed to keep it warm somehow, it would have frozen the second they started pouring it. Second, Smollett claims that he was on the phone with his manager during the alleged attack, but the manager didn’t call the police during or after the assault. Police are unable to verify the call because Jussie Smollett refused to let investigators look at his phone. Then, security camera footage after the attack is raising eyebrows as it shows him returning home, passing security personnel and not mentioning the attack.  And, at his first performance since the reported attack, he admitted his ribs weren’t actually broken.

The Chicago Police Department released a photo of two persons of interest and it was hard to tell just who it could be, but the Chicago Public Safety watchdog CWB Chicago reported the two men in the photo who weren’t holding ropes or bleach, they walked away from the area where the attack happened 15-30 minutes before the incident allegedly happened!

Cristina Laila from The Gateway Pundit summed up the situation with this story,

“Smollett must be some sort of superhero as he was able to fight off two angry racist men brandishing weapons whilst he was holding onto his phone and Subway sandwich.”

Inconsistencies, changing stories, refusal to cooperate, and a lack of skepticism from the media have defined the Jussie Smollett attack hoax.
