President Donald Trump will travel to Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he and the first lady will participate in a working visit with Carribean leaders.
Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan will join President Donald J. Trump as he welcomes Caribbean leaders to a meeting at Mar-a-Lago. The meeting will include leaders from the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Haiti, Jamaica, and Saint Lucia. The Deputy Secretary will support the President in his discussions on how best to support the Venezuelan people as they strive for democracy, as well as future engagement in the region under the U.S.-Caribbean 2020 strategy.
