NASA is set to launch its Perseverance Rover and Ingenuity Helicopter to Mars on Thursday. The Rover will head to space aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket then continue to Mars with expected arrival in February 2021.
The launch is scheduled for 7:50 a.m. EDT.
