Over 120 Arrests Recorded At Louisville Breonna Taylor Riots

Over 120 people were arrested during riots in Louisville, Kentucky following a grand jury decision to charge one of three officers involved in the death of Breonna Taylor, who was killed during the execution of a narcotics warrant in March.

A total of 127 people were apprehended between Wednesday and Thursday for damaging businesses, jumping on city vehicles and violating curfew, according to the Associated Press. Garbage crews have since begun to clear the damage reportedly caused by rioters, AP reported.

Daily Caller reporters Shelby Talcott and Jorge Ventura were among the arrestees early Thursday morning after they were encircled and detained by officers, according to tweets from Talcott.

Two City Gear stores and a pawn shop were looted by the violent demonstrators, police said, according to AP.

Two officers were shot, with one undergoing surgery, according to CBS News. Both are currently stable.

Larynzo Johnson, 26, was arrested for shooting both cops and will likely appear in court on Friday, CBS reported.
